PERFECT CONDITIONS WHERES THE PERFECT WAVES?

anyone who lives and surfs in northern california understands this dilemma. it was real nice sunny warm and offshore earlier this week and yet the surf was average at best everywhere. i got a decent session monday morning, met up with santa cruz photographer cory hansen and TIMMY REYES and took em both for a little OCEAN BEACH excursion. it was solid double overhead i didnt get any barrels but they were out there. i wound up breaking a leash tie and had to swim all the way in on my second or third wave; sucked. shot next day with aspiring photog JOEY HAJNAL heres the shots. pretty lame i mean it was one foot and mushy. sorryyyy.
